Jennifer Mulanax Costa
Hi, I’m Jennifer Mulanax Costa—author, podcaster, nonprofit consultant, data and systems geek, and someone who knows how much heart and hustle it takes to make change happen. I’ve spent more than two decades working in and alongside grassroots and national nonprofits, helping mission-driven teams turn big ideas into reality.
I started my career as a case manager working with homeless families and grew into executive leadership roles focused on fundraising, development operations, and strategy. I’ve built development departments from scratch, led regional and national campaigns, and written grants proposals that have led organizations to substantially scale up. I love building the systems and strategies that help nonprofits thrive—not just survive.
I’m also a CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) and someone who genuinely cares about helping organizations and donors align action with values. I specialize in development operations, grant strategy, infrastructure-building, and advising funders who want to give more effectively.
When I’m not working, I’m usually hanging with my two amazing kids, our spoiled Yorkie mix, or one of our many cats. You might also find me on stage with my fellow community theatre actors, or obsessing over the Florida Panthers.
